VKP Down-The-Hole hammer is designed for drilling deep holes in low to high strength materials, particularly for blasting operations in quarries. Maximum depth of a borehole is determined by the potential of the drilling rig and, critically, the ability to flush out bore dust which changes with the material drilled, diameter of the hole, operating air pressure and drill bit used. The hammer can drill in saturated borehole environments as well as completely underwater. With foam or water flushing, the hammer may also be used in enclosed areas like underground mines.
Benefits of use
- The hammer can drill in saturated borehole environments as well as completely underwater.
- With foam or water flushing, the hammer may also be used in enclosed areas like underground mines.
